Hi there, I'm Crista, a music loving travel addict from Baltimore. You'll either find me writing about my journeys, shamelessly stalking musicians, or out on the road on some wild adventure. I created this blog to showcase the main things I love: music, travel, art, and whatever else happens along the way. If you like those things too, I think you'll have a great time!

So what am I all about? Well I'm glad you asked!

I am fortunate enough to have many other travel loving individuals in my life. I am also fortunate enough to work a full-time job where I work 7 days on and 7 days off. While the job and position are not ideal or necessarily what I want to do with my life this does allow me the opportunity to spend almost every other week of my life traveling and attending shows. I'm going to chronicle my adventures and share any wisdom I have gathered along the way. Being that I don't really leave the country the majority of my travel is road tripping so I also think that's a pretty unique perspective to cover in a world of go, go, go to be able to slow down and see value in driving everywhere.

I LOVE a good tune, I'm especially into classic rock and heavy metal. I feel more at home in a small and sweaty music venue than anywhere else. I’ve also worked with a few bands and musicians doing merch and such; I've even gone on tour with one of them. I’m always keeping an eye on the music listings, so if you have an opportunity you’d like to get in touch about, please do drop me an email.

I'll be talking about day to day things, whatever catches my fancy, or maybe even have some journaling. This will be my most personal page and I hope that you love what you find here. A place where there’s no judgement, and no story you can’t tell, just you and I swapping anecdotes and hanging out.

You'll find old stories that I want to share from before I started this blog. I've been on some of my craziest journeys in the past 4 years and I'm sure they're bound to get crazier, but while I'm here I want to recount some of the gems!

Random Facts About Me:

I'm from Maryland so I have the pleasure of being a Southerner whenever I head North and a Yankee whenever I head South. I am technically a Southerner but the identity crisis is always interesting haha!

I have yet to leave North America and have only been half way through the US and Canada.

I have a Canon Rebel DSLR but it very rarely travels with me seeing as I can't get it into venues (hopefully this blog takes off and that will change fingers crossed!) I also have a Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 which is the most phenomenal point and shoot camera I have ever seen. I will likely do a post about it and once that happens I'll link it here.

I once stayed in a $40 hostel in NYC and managed not to die, don't regret it but DEFINITELY don't recommend it lol.

My favorite US cities aside from Baltimore are NYC, Orlando, Cleveland, and Nashville.

Top US cities on my to-visit list are Boston, Seattle, and Portland.

Top International destinations on my to-visit list are Sweden, Amsterdam, Australia, UK, and Vancouver.

I could eat crepes, pizza, spinach-based salad, and Jeni's Ice Cream all day every day! That would literally be my entire day, every day, in that order.

I prefer traveling alone but the majority of my travel is done with my "partner in crepe" Rebecca.
